This place is definitely worth the wait time! Service is outstanding and the food is great. The wait staff is kind and have smiles. The food was awesome! I checked out a few of the plates from other tables and everyone seemed pleased by their meal as well. I had the Mexican omelet which was good. It reminded me of a taco but with an egg and not the taco shell. The blood orange mimosa was great as well. Be sure to check this place out. They do not take reservations. Be sure to get there early. It’s definitely worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable

Cozy breakfast joint in the heart of beautiful Pasadena. Great menu choice friendly staff. Parking structure right behind the restaurant and yes they do honor validated parking. Very friendly servers and staff.

Nice mimosa selection. Great service, lots of good choices on the menu. The french toast was outstanding.

Our friends called ahead to say we were a party of 8 with kids and asking if they took reservations. They said they don't so we headed over from the Central Park playground. When we walked into this "family friendly" restaurant we were initially told they could not accommodate our party of 4 adults and 4 kids (2 in high chairs), despite the earlier call. A large open table was available which we asked about and they said that was fine but the gentleman then went into the kitchen and said they couldn't handle a table of eight. Mind you, there was a table of 7 adults at the table next to it. We said if he didn't want us to eat there we'd leave, but then he backpedaled and said to have a seat. Our waitress was nice enough though didn't check on us after the food arrived or ask if we'd like anything else just left the check. They have a full kids menu and are listed as kid friendly, so you'd think they would have been more accommodating especially as we arrived at 5pm. I expect better of a long running restaurant, especially as our kids are so well behaved. We will not be back and definitely do not recommend Russell's to families with kids.
